The company just announced that we need to cut back on our expenses in order to weather the slower times that we are seeing right now. Interest rates are climbing and the housing market is slowing in this area and that affects our production here. The bosses asked all personel to voluntarily cut back on time and take some extra time off to help lower costs. While I don't like the idea of taking a pay cut, they were gracious enough to make it optional. I am actually excited about this now though. I am planning to take Fridays off for the month of December, which means I will be able to spend more time with my little friends at the top of this post.

Yeah! I get o spend some extra time with you. Wish you could get paid for your time off, but I completely understand.
